My name is Raibu Chacko and I am a portrait photographer in Colleyville, a suburb just west of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A question I get asked a lot is “how did you get into photography?”.

Having grown up across 3 continents, I have had the privilege of experiencing a variety of cultures and surroundings that allowed me to frame different perspectives. In my childhood, I developed my love for photography after my dad brought home a Minolta 5000 Film camera that I thought was the neatest gadget for a child to hold at that time back in the early 80s. Fast forward to my entrepreneurial days of starting a restaurant, I then started to dabble in restaurant and food photography. From there I decided to branch into Family photography and then realized the possibilities were endless.

I am passionate about photography and family and blending the two helps me bring a smile to everyone, myself included. Since becoming a father, I’ve developed a whole new insight into the machine called family life. I find it exhilarating to help families capture the most special moments between parents and their children.
